A seed phrase backup is the most important security layer protecting your cryptocurrency. A seed phrase (also called recovery phrase or mnemonic phrase) is typically a set of 12 or 24 words that gives full access to your crypto wallet and funds.

When you create a crypto wallet, it generates a random seed phrase using cryptographic entropy. This phrase controls all your crypto assets. Never share it. Never expose it.
